I'll hold my hands up when I first started I skimmed over this section and never gave it any real attention until I realised it was the secret weapon in getting clients to understand why they needed a specific treatment (especially if they wanted something else) why their skin condition happened & why the products they use aren't working!

Understanding the Anatomy of the skin not only makes you better at your job it makes everything easier, you can explain things to clients in a way they understand (this makes it not feel salesy & sleazy) you're explaining the problem & the solution in a way they understand - you're not just trying to sell them treatments & products! I use to hate recommending things at first I felt like a car salesman!
